If you are interested in booking a party with Let’s Pretend then read this page as these are our frequently asked questions and hopefully should answer any of yours. Should the answer to your question not be displayed here, please contact us.
1. What do I need to provide?
The only things you need to do is provide the room where you want the party held, a room in your own house or it can be a hall that you have booked, you will also need to provide the party food. For the makeover parties held in the home we will need the use of a television for the Nintendo Wii.
2. What do you bring?
We will bring depending on which party is chosen all the decoration, costumes and accessories, background screens, Props, make-up or face paints, nail & hair products, body tattoos, party bags filled with quality goodies (age dependant), prizes, Nintendo Wii with games and arts & crafts.
3. What products do you apply?
As most of the parties are for younger children we understand that their skins are sensitive so we do not apply heavy products. The make-up we use is for sensitive skin. The face paints are also for sensitive skin and we don’t apply them all over the face just a small design on their cheeks. For the older girl’s parties there is more time spent on the make-up and a lot more choice for them.
4. How do I book a party with Let’s Pretend?
On our enquiry’s page you will see our contact numbers and also where to email us or you can fill in the simple enquiry form and send that to us. When you book a party we’ll need to know which party you would like, the date, the time, approximate number of children, age ranges, the address where the party will be held and the address where we can send the invitations if different from the party address and also a contact number.
5. What days and times can I book my party?
You can choose when you have your party. It doesn’t just have to be on a weekend why not on an afternoon after school or nursery. We are available for bookings any day and time except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. If you feel your booking is last minute still call us and we will do our best to help you.
6. Do I pay a deposit?
A non-refundable deposit of £25 will be required either by cheque or card payment via PayPal when the booking is made.
7. What payments do you accept?
You can pay your balance on the day of the party, by either cash or cheque you will receive a receipt at the end of the party with the Thank you cards.
8. What areas in Scotland do you cover?
We are just outside Dunfermline and our prices are inclusive of a travelling distance for a 20 mile round trip. Venues outwith this will have a small mileage fee. Please contact us for a very reasonable price.
